Real Madrid Foundation and Microsoft bring children closer to technology

25 Nov 2016

The Real Madrid Foundation and Microsoft have participated in the first Hour of Code event in Spain. It is an initiative promoted by Code.org, which takes place around the world and coincides with Computer Science Education Week and looks to foster basic understanding of computer programming and IT amongst children.

Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Isco took part in the week’s events along with 150 boys and girls, who have come from different education centres around Spain (SEK International Schools), Portugal (Agrupamento de Escolas de Freixo) and Colombia (SSS from the Real Madrid Foundation in the Valle del Cauca region). They have all come together to share this special session carried out by teachers from Spain’s Fundación Créate and volunteers from Microsoft Ibérica.
