Real Madrid ‘are filing a criminal complaint’ against Javier Tebas (La Liga president), Javier de Jaime (CVC managing partner) and the entire CVC fund for unfair administration and fraud, as per ABC.
The information sent to La Liga clubs says that the CVC company could earn up to €229.4m from the league.
Earlier, Real Madrid released an official statement, labelling La Liga’s €2.7bn deal as ‘illegal’, emphasizing that the club weren’t even informed about it beforehand.
Basically, the whole agreement means that clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona lose more than €800m in the long term in exchange for ±€270m they could receive now.
Both the Whites and the Catalans are against the deal as it also means that the two clubs would need to leave the European Super League project.
