Champions of the EuroLeague Regular Season, Real Madrid are set to face Turkish outfit Darussafaka, who finished eighth in the standings, in the competition’s quarter-finals. The best-of-five play-off round, in which the Whites hold home-court advantage, will be played at the Palacio, the first games coming on the 19th and 21st of April at 9:00pm.
The third game will take place at the Turkish side’s home court on the 26th of April at 6:00pm. If a fourth game is needed to decide the tie, it would be played two days later, the 28th, on the same court and at the same time. A hypothetical fifth and decisive clash would be played back in Madrid on the 2nd of May.
The four playoff winners will proceed to the Final Four, which is set to be played in Istanbul (19-21 May). Should Madrid progress, they would face the winners of the match-up between Panathinaikos and Fenerbahçe in the semi-finals. The other two quarter-final clashes will be between CSKA and Baskonia and Olympiacos and Anadolu Efes.
