Real Madrid have a whole line-up of players out on loan all around Europe this season and they are studying the options for each of these 11 talents.
The top-tier loanees are Mateo Kovacic and Martin Odegaard, but their plans are very different.
The Croatian, who didn’t have the best relationship with Zinedine Zidane, is on loan at Chelsea and will do all he can to move away from the club, while Odegaard believes his time to form part of the first team at Los Blancos has come.
Two other interesting cases are those of Raul De Tomas and Borja Mayoral, two strikers who have been loaned out within LaLiga Santander.
With centre-forward a position of need, their futures will have to be studied carefully.
Andriy Lunin‘s situation is also one to keep an eye on, with the 20-year-old Ukrainian having gone to Leganes and having played just five matches.
His prospects of staying at Real Madrid for 2019/20 will depend on the musical chairs between Thibaut Courtois, Keylor Navas and Luca Zidane in the goalkeeping department.
The future of Theo Hernandez, meanwhile, is set to be linked to Marcelo‘s situation for next season, with Real Madrid now having the Brazilian, the Frenchman and the bright young talent of Sergio Reguilon on their books at left-back.
Also out on loan and less likely to earn a promotion are Alvaro Tejero, Aleix Febas, Oscar Rodriguez, Sergio Diaz and Mink Peeters.
