Real Madrid believe their recovery will begin in El Clasico

29 Feb 2020

It has been a tough few weeks for Real Madrid, with their Copa del Rey elimination, their dropping of league points against Celta Vigo and Levante and their Champions League first leg defeat against Manchester City.

However, there is a tangible sense of belief in the dressing room and the players hope their recovery can begin in El Clasico.

There is a belief that a win against Barcelona on Sunday night could spur the team on towards the business end of the season and that it could help them pull off a comeback in Manchester.

Los Blancos want to press Barcelona and recovery their identity, all while claiming three points of course.

There has been talk of excessive rotation and a lack of goals in recent weeks, but the players know that the mood around the club would change completely with a victory on Sunday night.
