Ever since he joined the LaLiga offices in New York, some Real Madrid fans have questioned Raul’s commitment to Los Blancos, especially after comments that praised a certain Lionel Messi.
A club icon, he hasn’t taken to those comments too lightly, and hit back at an event on Sunday.
“Hala Madrid y nada mas!” he said, the club’s motto loud and clear. “In June, I will move back to Madrid.
“I want to work at Real Madrid and we’ll see the ways in which I can help the club.”
Raul is expected to join up with his hometown club this summer, after he finished up his work in North America.
