Weplan Global, an integrated architecture, branding, and marketing agency, has released a few images of how the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu will look once renovations are completed.
Real Madrid returned to the stadium after a year and a half at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano, but renovation work is still underway.
The two new spectacular images show that the Bernabeu will be more than a football stadium, with the most notable difference being that it will remain asymmetrical and that the new east side stands will be curved, similar to those at the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
Workers are currently focused on the retractable pitch work because the storage space is still under construction. They will work on the mechanism and the ramp after that, which must be slightly cantilevered in order for the retractable lawn system to work.
Fans can see how the new roof, 360-degree scoreboard, and even the new heating system will look in an image shared by Weplan.
