Mourinho: “You can’t train a team that already has a coach”

21 Sep 2019

Real Madrid failed in Paris on Wednesday, casting doubt on Zinedine Zidane‘s future as coach of the club, yet Jose Mourinho has refused to respond to rumours linking him with a return to Madrid, suggesting that he can’t train a team that already has a coach.

Mourinho has made clear that he is ready to return to football after leaving Manchester United in December, but he wouldn’t put further pressure on Zidane when asked.

“You can’t train a team that already has a coach,” Mourinho explained to Deportes Cuatro.

“I would not like to train to Real Madrid because they already have a coach.

“That’s it.”
