Gareth Bale will be out of action for around a month due to another calf injury which is the problem which has kept him most time in the treatment room since he has been a Real Madrid player.
It is a new issue from that which stopped him from facing Espanyol and he had to have tests on Monday after a light training session where he felt pain down his leg.
The Welshman has had to abandon his national team’s headquarters which is a big blow considering they are playing for their position in the World Cup.
It was a message from the Wales camp that revealed the new injury: “after speaking with Madrid a scan was done and the results say that he is not available.”
This is a different version to what was stated by Real who claimed that he was only suffering from cramp.
“There is nothing wrong with Bale, he has played a lot at the start of the season and following the Dortmund game he is tired,” said Zidane.
“It is not an injury, I have spoken with the players and the doctors.”
Another version but basically it all means that Bale is injured again and once more a calf problem. If you look back at what he has had so far apart from the calf there has been flu, ankle issues, thigh and groin strains which has seen him miss 66 games.
His worse season was without doubt the last campaign when he had to be operated on his aright ankle and since then he has missed 27 games.
