Mbappe rejects 3 contract offers from PSG

14 Nov 2020

Kylian Mbappe has turned down 3 offers to sign a new deal with PSG.

The Frenchman would only extend the contract if it had a ‘Madrid clause’ allowing him to leave the club for a specific fee.

However, it is quite risky for the player: PSG would like the fee to stand at about €200m; his potential injury and the coronavirus crisis could make it impossible for Real Madrid to pay that price.

As a reminder, Mbappe’s current deal runs until July 2022; Real Madrid reportedly value the 22-year-old at €180m but would probably prefer to sign him for free in January 2022.
