Marcos Llorente has already turned to full training

20 Mar 2019

Zinedine Zidane‘s return to the dugout at Real Madrid has brought renewed hope of playing time for certain members of Los Blancos’ squad, and with training continuing during the international break, Marcos Llorente has impressed with his quick return to full contact training.

Wednesday morning saw those senior players without international commitments work alongside Castilla in a joint session, and Llorente played a full part, despite missing every match since the Clasico defeat to Barcelona.

Isco, Marcelo, Nacho Fernandez, Mariano, Karim Benzema, Brahim Diaz, Alvaro Odriozola and Luca Zidane all too took part in the session.

Whilst Lucas Vazquez remains on the sidelines, there are hopes that the Spanish winger will return sooner rather than later, with a first full training session planned for him once the international break concludes.

Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior are both still injured, and there isn’t yet a specific timetable on their respective recoveries.
