Marcos Llorente faces three weeks out

07 Feb 2019

Just as Santiago Solari and Real Madrid‘s injury woes looked to be passing, Marcos Llorente was forced off prematurely at the Camp Nou on Wednesday evening.

The youngster had established himself in Casemiro‘s absence at the end of 2018, only to fall injured upon the Brazilian’s return and he had just recently recovered before being hit with another.

Real Madrid have revealed that the player has been diagnosed with a grade two muscle injury in the adductor muscle in his right leg.

The full extent of his injury remains unknown, but it is estimated that he could face three weeks on the sidelines.
