Real Madrid‘s Champions League last 16 second leg tie away to Manchester City is under threat due to new guidelines in the United Kingdom.
Visitors to the UK from Spain will have to self-isolate for 14 days as of Saturday evening.
Real Madrid are due to take on Pep Guardiola’s City side at the Etihad Stadium on August 7.
It’s not yet know if the plan is only aimed at tourists returning to the UK from Spain, or if it will also apply to Spaniards travelling north.
UEFA are keeping tabs on the situation and have set aside both Porto and Guimaraes as possible venues should games not be able to go ahead in their planned locations.
