Luka Jovic wants to join Milan

19 Jun 2020

Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic wants to join Milan this summer and a two-year loan deal is said to be a possibility.

According to Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the 22-year-old Serbian striker is willing to move to the Rossoneri and team up with Rebic in a bid to revitalise his career.

The Italian side are said to be set to offer a two-year loan deal with an option to buy. If Jovic were ready to accept a pay cut, then the loan move to Milan could potentially go through.

Luka Jovic and Ante Rebic played 40 games for Eintracht alongside each other, having participated in 7 goals together.

The striker’s transfer from the German side cost Real Madrid €60m last summer. The Serbian has endured a disappointing start to life in the Spanish capital. He had scored only two goals in four La Liga starts.

Considering his misfortunes in his debut season at Madrid, he’s also been linked with the summer exit from the club with the likes of Napoli, Arsenal and Chelsea among potential destinations.
