Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez made it clear that he has no intention of leaving Los Blancos.
It has been a turbulent campaign at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu which has led to plenty of talk about a possible summer clear-out.
Vazquez, who came up through the youth ranks at Real Madrid does not want to leave his home, though he did not close the door on the possibility
“We will see. Nobody knows. We will have to see,” he told Radio Gaceta.
“For sure I want to stay at Real Madrid.
“I have a contract until 2021,” he mentioned.
While plenty are earmarked to leave, there are also a number of players said to be on Real Madrid‘s shopping list, particularly Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard.
“Every year there is talk whether this player is coming or another, it is normal,” he said.
“The best players have to come to Madrid and Hazard is one of them.
“I think that Pogba would be an interesting signing,” he added.
Speaking of the difficult campaign, Vazquez was perplexed by the situation but feels that an absence of fortune may have played a part.
“It has been a tough season. Perhaps in decisive moments we were not as lucky as in other seasons,” he concluded.
