LaLiga considering two options for the timing of the first Clásico of the season

11 Oct 2020

LaLiga is beginning to think about the schedules to set the seventh matchday of the League. During it there will be a very important game such as the Clasico: Barcelona-Real Madrid. At the moment there is a day practically fixed as it is Saturday, October 24, but the final time remains unknown.

LaLiga has not yet made official the schedules for Matchday 7 corresponding to the weekend of October 24 and 25. Probably, this week it will be determined when and in what time slot the clashes will be played.

That day is marked by the match that will be the Clasico between Barcelona and Real Madrid and according to Mundo Deportivothat match will be played on Saturday, October 24.

As for the time, two options are considered. Well at 1:00 p.m. or at 4:00 p.m. In the second schedule, Javier Tebas would take advantage of the Asian market with the greatest following due to the good time there.

That’s the main idea just like last season. The first Clasico was set  on Saturday October 26 at 1:00 p.m., although it was not finally played that day. Due to the riots in Catalonia, the clash was postponed and ended up being played on December 18 at 8:00 p.m.

At the moment there is no official confirmation. The latest confirmed schedules are those of Matchday 6, but it is estimated that this week LaLiga will publish the schedules of Matchday 7 and we will know the official date of the Clasico.
