Takefusa Kubo has left FC Tokyo to join Real Madrid and while he’ll be operating within Castilla this coming season, he’ll be on the plane to Canada with the first team for pre-season training.
Kubo‘s signing was confirmed on June 14 and he said farewell to his club this weekend having returned from the Copa America in Brazil since his move was confirmed.
The 18-year-old debuted against Chile and also played in Japan‘s games against Uruguay and Ecuador.
Japan were knocked out on June 25 and he then had some days off. He’s expected to be unveiled in the next few days.
Everyone at Madrid is excited by his future prospects and all eyes will be on him in the Segunda B next season with Castilla and under Raul Gonzalez‘s orders.
Even when playing with Castilla, he’ll never be far from Zinedine Zidane‘s thoughts, which is why he’ll be joining the first team for pre-season training.
