Takefusa Kubo may have it tough when it comes to qualifying for a Spanish passport, but at least he has his driving licence.
The 19-year-old has learned to drive while on loan at Real Mallorca this season and passed his test thanks to the help of the Miguel Kalet driving school on the Balearic island.
“Congratulations to Takefusa Kubo for his effort, determination and discipline,” the driving school wrote on Instagram.
“It’s been an honour to have you here.
“We’ve loved having you and discovering those important values that have made you grow and reach the top as a player and a person.”
Kubo is at a crossroads in terms of his Real Madrid future, with his lack of EU citizenship putting the brakes on a career at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Sevilla seem to be his most likely destination, with the Andalusian club reportedly leading the race to sign him on loan this summer.
