After missing the last three games with a knee injury, Toni Kroos is close to returning to action.
The German took part in the first half of Real Madrid training on Monday morning and then worked on a specific fitness plan, as did Mariano, who picked up a muscle injury last week.
Kroos could make his return to action against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League, although it appears much likelier that he will return on Saturday against Rayo Vallecano in the last game before the Club World Cup.
Elsewhere, Casemiro, Sergio Reguilon and Nacho were all on the field as they continue their own recovery processes.
Those who started at El Alcoraz on Sunday carried out a recovery session indoors, although Sergio Ramos, Alvaro Odriozola, Raphael Varane, Lucas Vazquez, Dani Ceballos and Marcos Llorente did make their way outside for running work.
