Kick-off times for the madridistas called up to their national teams

The following madridistas have been called up to their national squads to play games during the October international break. Sergio Ramos (Spanish), Raphäel Varane and Ferland Mendy ( France), Thibaut Courtois (Belgium), Toni Kroos (Germany), Luka Modrić (Croatia), Luka Jović (Serbia), Andriy Lunin (Ukraine) and Martin Ødegaard (Norway) will be involved in friendly matches, Nations League fixtures and European Championship play-offs. Casemiro and Rodrygo (Brazil) and Fede Valverde (Uruguay) face qualifiers for the Qatar World Cup.

Portugal-Spain (Wednesday 7, 8:45pm CEST)
Spain-Switzerland (Saturday 10, 8:45pm CEST)
Ukraine-Spain (Tuesday 13, 8:45pm CEST)

Ramos has been named in Luis Enrique’s Spain squad for their upcoming fixtures. The first clash is a friendly with Portugal in Lisbon, before the national side takes on Switzerland at the Alfredo Di Stéfano on Nations League match day 3. Spain will see out the international break with a clash against Lunin’s Ukraine on match day 4.

France-Ukraine (Wednesday 7, 9:10pm CEST)
France-Portugal (Sunday 11, 8:45pm CEST)
Croatia-France (Wednesday 14, 8:45pm CEST)

Varane is part of the France squad for their friendly with Ukraine at the Stade de France. The same venue will then see France host Portugal in their Nations League fixture, before they head to Croatia to play their next game in the competition. Mendy received a late call-up to the French squad to replace Dubois and he will join up with the team after the friendly meeting with Ukraine.

The Croatian national team, captained by Modrić, open with a friendly away to Switzerland, before heading home to play two Nations League matches. The midfielder welcomes Sweden on match day 3 and Varane’s France side on match day 4.

France-Ukraine (Wednesday 7, 9:10pm CEST)
Ukraine-Germany (Saturday 10, 8:45pm CEST)
Ukraine-Spain (Tuesday 13, 8:45pm CEST)

The Ukraine team, featuring Lunin, make their first stop of this international break at the Stade de France, where they take on the French and Raphäel Varane in a friendly meeting. The madridista shot-stopper then has two home games to look forward to at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev in the Nations League. The first is against Germany, with Kroos in the squad, before they host Ramos’ Spain.

Belgium-Ivory Coast (Thursday 8, 8:45pm CEST)
England-Belgium (Sunday 11, 6:00pm CEST)
Iceland-Belgium (Wednesday 14, 8:45pm CEST)

Courtois will play one friendly and two Nations League fixtures with his national side. First up, they welcome the Ivory Coast to the King Balduino Stadium, before taking on England and Iceland on the road, on match day 3 and 4 of the Nations League.

Norway-Serbia (Thursday 8, 8:45pm CEST)
Serbia-Hungary (Sunday 11, 8:45pm CEST)
Turkey-Serbia (Wednesday 14, 8:45pm CEST)

Luka Jović has three competitive games to handle with Serbia. The first is a visit to Norway, who have called up Martin Ødegaard for the European Championships qualifier. The remaining two fixtures are Nations League meetings, against Hungary in Belgrade and Turkey in Istanbul.

Martin Ødegaard is in the Norway squad for their three upcoming encounters. The midfielder first faces a European Championship qualifier against Serbia (featuring Jović), before playing their next two Nations League games against Romania and Northern Ireland. All three meetings will take place at Oslo’s Ullevaal Stadion.

Brazil-Bolivia (Saturday 10, 2:30am CEST)
Peru-Brazil (Wednesday 14, 2:00am CEST)

Casemiro and Rodrygo are in the Brazilian squad for their two Qatar World Cup qualifying encounters. First up, they take on Bolivia in Sao Paulo, before going head to head with Peru at the Estadio Nacional in Lima.

Uruguay-Chile (Friday 9, 00:45am CEST)
Ecuador-Uruguay (Tuesday 13, 23:00pm CEST)

Fede Valverde will also be involved in qualifiers for the Qatar World Cup. The Uruguayan outfit will host Chile in Montevideo, before making the journey to Ecuador for the second clash.

Ukraine-Germany (Saturday 10, 8:45pm CEST)
Germany-Switzerland (Tuesday 13, 8:45pm CEST)

Toni Kroos has been called up by Germany for their two Nations League fixtures. The first pits them against Ukraine at Kiev’s Olympic Stadium, before they welcome Switzerland to Cologne in the second clash. The German team will also play a warm-up friendly against Turkey prior to the competitive action, but the madridista will not be involved.
