Hazard starts ball work at Valdebebas

23 Jan 2020

Real Madrid returned to training on Thursday, following their Copa del Rey win over Unionistas de Salamanca.

Zinedine Zidane‘s squad began preparations for Sunday’s trip to Real Valladolid as Wednesday’s starters took part in a run before moving onto tactical work.

Meanwhile, Sergio Ramos trained on his own on the pitches at Valdebebas with and without the ball.

The best news for Los Blancos was that Eden Hazard was doing exercises with a ball at his feet out on the grass.

The Belgian hasn’t played since injuring his ankle against Paris Saint-Germain in November, but he continues his return to full fitness.

Marco Asensio is also on the road to recovery, though he didn’t do any ball work on Thursday.
