Real Madrid have given star signing Eden Hazard the No.7 shirt, with the Belgian set to follow in the footsteps of the likes of Raul Gonzalez and Cristiano Ronaldo by donning the number.
That shirt had belonged to Mariano Diaz, who is still at the club, but he will now wear the No.24, despite rumours linking him with a move to Monaco.
Elsewhere, it was interesting to see that James Rodriguez has been awarded the No.16 shirt, having worn the No.10 before going on loan to Bayern Munich.
New signings Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, Luka Jovic and Rodrygo Goes have been given the numbers 3, 23, 18 and 27 respectively, while Andriy Lunin, who spent last season on loan at Leganes, will wear the No.25 shirt.
Interestingly, Vinicius Junior still has the No.28 shirt, which may be an indication that he could be registered on a Castilla contract, as is what will happen with Rodrygo.
