Eden Hazard is expected to be included in Zinedine Zidane‘s squad list for Sunday’s game against Celta Vigo.
The Belgian has been sidelined since November 26 due to an ankle injury and now, two and a half months later, he could finally return to action.
Zidane will start him on the bench and may send him in in the second half to play the last minutes of the game.
The French coach has made clear that he is not willing to force his star’s return in order to avoid an injury setback.
Hazard returned to training with the group on January 30 and could have played against Osasuna, although he had completed seven sessions with the team.
However, Real Madrid don’t want to risk a muscle injury due to the training workload and that’s the reason behind Zidane‘s decision to delay his return.
The next question could be when will Hazard be able to start a game, but his coach has no answer yet.
Real Madrid will need him against Manchester City, on February 26, and Barcelona, on March 1.
However, it’s doubtful whether he will be able to feature in the starting line-up after possibly participating in just two games against Celta and Levante.
