Erling Haaland, who is reportedly on Real Madrid’s radar, wants the Bernabeu to become his new home but his current club Borussia Dortmund plan to keep the striker for another year, ABC report.
According to the source, the Norwegian asked Dortmund to listen to the offers from Los Blancos exceeding his €75 million release clause, should they arrive.
Moreover, according to his agent Mino Raiola, the 19-year-old doesn’t want to leave Dortmund just yet.
Real Madrid have reportedly identified the Borussia Dortmund striker as their top transfer target for the summer as they look for a reliable Karim Benzema’s replacement.
Haaland swapped Red Bull Salzburg for BVB in January and has scored 12 goals in his first 11 games for the Bundesliga outfit.
The 19-year-old is on 40 strikes in 33 appearances for Salzburg and Dortmund this term so far, including 10 goals in eight Champions League matches.
