Florentino Perez did not have the best of Saturday nights as after watching Real Madrid draw 0-0 at home to Villarreal, his car was involved in a minor collision as he left the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and the incident was caught by television cameras.
The goalless draw was a particular disappointment as Madrid fans had been on such a high after recent results, although Los Blancos remain top of LaLiga Santander.
Then after witnessing that encounter, the first game Madrid have failed to win since returning to the Bernabeu, Perez’s car was bumped from behind when turning on the Glorieta de los Sagrados Corazones.
The incident was very minor, despite the ignominy of Gol caputring it and showing it on television, and the cars continued on their ways, with Perez being mobbed by fans any time the car stopped to turn or at a traffic light.
One fan could be heard shouting for Kylian Mbappe and Perez replied that that would be a signing for next year, indicating that he remains confident of landing the young French star.
