Florentino Perez promises to look after Reyes’ son until he turns 18

04 Jun 2019

The death of Jose Antonio Reyes has stunned the entire world football, especially at his former clubs such as Real Madrid.

The striker’s 11-year-old son Jose Antonio Reyes Lopez currently plays for Leganes, but had already agreed to move to Real Madrid‘s academy for next season and he’ll be looked out for by Florentino Perez.

As revealed by Cristobal Soria on Monday night’s ‘El Chiringuito’ program, the Real Madrid president has promised to keep a watchful eye over the boy.

Perez was sensational, incredible,” Soria started as he revealed the story with tears in his eyes.

“It’s an incredible detail that he said he’d look after the son of 11 years.

Perez told me that he’d look out for him until his 18th birthday and that he wouldn’t have to worry about anything.”
