Eintracht Frankfurt want Mariano Diaz to be included as part of any Luka Jovic transfer to Real Madrid.
The forward only returned to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu last summer after scoring 21 goals during an impressive campaign with Lyon.
However, he has played just 656 minutes for Los Blancos this season under Julen Lopetegui, Santiago Solari and Zinedine Zidane combined.
Although injuries haven’t helped him, Zidane has given Mariano just one start, against Rayo Vallecano last Sunday, since taking charge again.
The coach doesn’t trust him, and it’s understood that Madrid would listen to any offers of around 20 million euros in the upcoming transfer window.
Jovic, meanwhile, has emerged as one of Europe’s hottest strikers this season with Madrid leading a number of top European clubs to land his signature.
The prices for the two players would be negotiated independently from each other and, with Jovic seemingly destined for Madrid, Mariano could get the move that his career needs.
