Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted he wouldn’t mind his Juventus side taking on Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
The two European giants could face off in the Champions League Round of 16 after Real Madrid finished behind Paris Saint-Germain in Group A, with Juventus topping Group D.
“Real Madrid are an extraordinary side but I’d prefer to play them later on,” Ronaldo told Sky Sport. “Maybe in the final, I’d take that right now.”
On his attacking partners, Ronaldo feels that playing alongside Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain is any forward’s dream.
“We have a lot of fun,” Ronaldo continued. “When alongside Dybala and Higuain. The understanding we have is excellent.
“It’s obvious that the coach makes the decisions and we must respect them, but I cannot hide the fact that we have a lot of fun playing together.”
The Portuguese star also gave an update on his injury problems, and stated he is now fully recovered.
“I feel much better now,” he went on. “The pain I had is in the past now.
“I had trouble with my knee for several weeks but now it’s fine. The team as well. Everything is improving.”
