Club World Cup semi-final to be played in Abu Dhabi
If Zinedine Zidane’s team manage to get through their semi-final, they will defend the trophy in the final at Zayed Sports City Stadium on Saturday 16 December with kick-off at 18:00 hours CET. Should they be knocked out in the semi-final, they will play for third place on the same day at 15:00 hours.
If Madrid successfully win this year’s Club World Cup, they will pull level with Barcelona to become the only teams to have won the trophy three times. They would also become the first club to win the trophy in consecutive seasons following last year’s victory over Kashima Antlers.
