Edinson Cavani’s name has started to circulate around Real Madrid‘s offices.
The Uruguayan striker is available on a free transfer after leaving Paris Saint-Germain in May and he was offered to the club prior to their scoreless draw at Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.
Although his salary would be high – around seven million euros a year – the possibility to sign him without having to spend money on a transfer fee has Los Blancos considering his arrival as an option.
Juventus, Roma, Gremio, Benfica and Atletico Madrid have all reportedly spoken to Cavani and his representative, his brother Fernando, since he left PSG.
For now, Cavani is continuing to train at home in Uruguay.
