After fracturing his finger in the win over Real Betis, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema will have it operated on on Sunday, but first wants to take on Sevilla.
The player was seen driving to training on Monday with his fingers bandaged up, and has not been called up for the Copa del Rey clash with Leganes.
First reported by Onda Cero, and not confirmed by MARCA, Benzema is set to undergo an operation on Sunday, but first wants to face Sevilla on Saturday at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, before having two weeks off.
