Marco Asensio’s medical checks have been postponed until Monday.
The Real Madrid forward is due MRI scans on his left knee and the decision has been taken to push them back by a couple of days to allow for a little more time to pass in order to see better and clearer signs of progression.
Real Madrid‘s medical department haven’t offered up any additional information on Asensio‘s state other than saying that everything is fine.
Asensio currently doesn’t feel any pain and he should be in line to join Zinedine Zidane‘s pre-season squad.
The player had to leave the Spain setup on Tuesday due to a knee scare after a slip.
Scarred by last summer’s injury, the pain prompted fears that he had suffered something more severe than appears to be the case.
