Sergio Ramos and Amazon Prime Video have announced a collaboration for the production of an eight-episode documentary series on the life of the Real Madrid captain.
The set of programs will show the day-to-day routine of the 32-year-old defender, on and off the pitch.
It will share family moments and show the other side of Ramos, away from football, as the epicenter of the series will have friends and relatives give their own opinion about the player.
Viewers will get insights into his club and international career, as well as his Andalusian heritage and his collection of tattoos.
“I am excited to be able to share with football fans the keys to being a professional athlete and what is the responsibility of wearing captain’s armband with Real Madrid and Spain, while having a normal personal life at the same time,” said Ramos.
“I think that anyone who is dedicated to their profession can feel attached to this series and I couldn’t have a better partner to do it with than Amazon Prime Video.”
The director of Prime Originals in Europe, Georgia Brown, has also assured that the audience will enjoy the series.
“We are incredibly excited to bring this exclusive project with Sergio Ramos to Amazon Prime customers and football fans around the world,” she noted.
“It’s fantastic content to enrich our Prime Video programs in Spain, and we are sure that our clients will love seeing Sergio in these unique and private moments on and off the pitch.”
