Nine Real Madrid players have been named in the 55-man shortlist for FIFPro’s World XI for 2019.
The list sees eight of side that won three successive Champions League trophies nominated.
Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema are joined by Eden Hazard on the shortlist.
There isn’t room for Thibaut Courtois and Gareth Bale, though, who are the notable absentees for Los Blancos.
Courtois has been beaten to a nomination by Ederson, Alisson Becker, Jan Oblak, David de Gea and Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
Ramos, Varane, Marcelo and Modric made last year’s World XI alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who was at Juventus at the time of the award ceremony but was honoured for his season with Real Madrid and World Cup performance with Portugal.
