68-95: Copa del Rey champions!

17 Feb 2020

Real Madrid were crowned champions of the Copa del Rey 2020 after beating Unicaja Malaga in the final played at the Martin Carpena, the same setting where they won six years ago. It is the sixth cup title in nine years and number 28 in the history of the club to extend a record that in the last nine seasons, with Laso on the bench, has won 19 titles. Today’s title was won at the host’s home court and with another very solid performance from the defense and an overwhelming dominance of the game. Another great show from Campazzo (13 points, 13 assists and 29 PIR), who won the MVP for the tournament, the third consecutive after the final of the ACB League and the Super Cup. And great game from Carroll (20 points). Llull played 800th games in the White jersey and the madridistas add this trophy to the one of the Supercup in this season.
