60-55: Real Madrid unable to extend European winning streak in Moscow

15 Jan 2020

Real Madrid came off second best on CSKA Moscow’s floor in the opening game of this double-round week on Russian soil (the team faces Khimki on Thursday) as the Whites saw their 13-game winning run in the EuroLeague brought to a half. The Whites were the better team in the first half, where they held an 11-point buffer at one point, but the hosts fought back after the break and ended up taking the spoils in what proved to be a low-scoring match-up. Campazzo (11 points and a PIR of 18) was the standout performer for Pablo Laso’s men, who welcomed Llull and Deck back.
