Real Madrid is turning 118 years old. The history of the greatest club in the world began back on the 6th of March 1902, when the first ever Board of Directors of Madrid Football Club was officially named. Since then, Real Madrid’s legend has continued to grow and the club now boasts 23 European Cups (13 in football and 10 in basketball). What’s more, it’s the only team to be crowned European champions in both disciplines in the same season.
Alongside these continental titles, Real Madrid, who also have the honour of being named FIFA’s Best Club of the 20th Century, boast an extraordinary trophy haul, which in the last year has been added to by the football team, with the Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah. The most standout elements of their trophy list now read; 13 European Cups, 7 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 2 UEFA Cups, 33 LaLiga titles, 19 Copas del Rey, 11 Spanish Super Cups, 1 Copa de la Liga, 2 Mini World Cups and 2 Copas Latinas.
